I have an iPhone 5s that I recently replaced the screen and home button on. Once I finally connected it to wifi, the phone is virtually unusable. I apparently had WiFried installed among other tweaks, so I booted into safe mode: same issue. My theory is everything the phone is trying to reach is gone or DNS dead linking.
If I have no other possible fix other than keeping it off network (defeats the purpose of owning it) what should I do? I cannot figure out any feasible way other than using my firewall to block all the DNS requests. Should I update to iOS 10.3.3? Should I stay on iOS 8.3 if someone knows a fix? Should I sell the phone in the current state and move on?
Just need some advice or even technical help
