Fully degoogled (well, except for the Pixel) and self-hosting the majority of the things!

I have known of the degoogling movement for a few years; nonetheless, since last year I've been taking it really seriously alongside the FOSS movement.

I deleted the majority of my social media and my Google accounts, and I switched most of my applications to FOSS alternatives/frontends. If that isn't the case, I use them in the browser with a burner account (e.g., eBay). In addition to the latter, I decided to self-host as many services as I can, including a SearXNG instance, a private DNS, backup services, local LLMs, and finally,​​​ I'm planning to host my own mail service (I'm using Proton for now)

To be fair, there are three things I haven't dropped yet; therefore, they're sandboxed: Reddit (even though I'm using RedReader, I cannot find communities on Lemmy similar to those I used to visit on Reddit), WhatsApp, and finally, banking apps for obvious reasons.

I would also like to host my own Invidious and Forgejo instances. However, along with the mail service, they would be very tedious to maintain.
