Veilr: VPN for tough networks

Hello again Redditors!

Your help testing Veilr VPN service across more Apple products is greatly needed.

Veilr exists to make private internet access one tap, even when the network makes that difficult.

Since our last TestFlight post, the app has advanced a lot. Veilr is now available in beta on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, and we would love to bring in more testers, especially from countries where VPN connections are blocked, unstable, throttled or regularly disrupted. Veilr automatically adapts, changes routes, protocols, all automatically in the background. We are bringing it free of charge for everyone with speed limit and a plus version for no speed limits.

Veilr is built for people who do not want to deal with server lists, protocol settings or constant trial and error. It checks the routes available on the network you are using and automatically tries to find one that works.

Please try streaming, browsing, visiting sites, making VoIP calls where they are restricted, and report any issues you encounter so we enhance the operations.

Privacy is also a core part of the design:

  • Zero tracking
  • Zero browsing history storage
  • Zero storage of traffic contents
  • Zero DNS query logging
  • No storage of Wi-Fi names
  • No exact location collection

We are especially interested in real-world testing on the mobile and Wi-Fi networks people actually use every day in restricted regions.

The TestFlight beta is free for 90 days, and testers who submit a complete failed-connection report with a working email address, including an anonymous email address, will receive 3 months of Veilr free after public release.

Veilr is localised in:

English, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Urdu, Spanish (Mexico), French, Hindi and Filipino.

Supported platforms:

iPhone • iPad • Mac • Apple TV

If you live somewhere where VPN access is unreliable or difficult, your testing would be especially valuable.
