AdGuard 8 is… what happened?

Tried upgrading to AdGuard 8 and honestly… wtf?

The app is slow as hell. Lots of lag, clicking around the settings sometimes takes a second to actually respond, and the whole thing just feels heavier than 7. I'm on a high-end PC, so I really don't think my hardware is the problem here.

The settings are also confusing now. Both the ad-blocking filter settings and the DNS filter settings feel way more complicated than they used to. I keep clicking through different sections trying to find things that were pretty straightforward in v7.

In v7, I could also just go through the available ad-blocking filters and choose which ones I wanted to install. I can't seem to find that same straightforward setup in v8. Maybe I'm missing something, but the whole thing feels unnecessarily confusing now.

I also had a couple of apps stop working after the upgrade. I eventually figured out that turning off traffic filtering for those specific apps fixed it, so there's a workaround. Still, they worked fine before the upgrade.

At some point I just got tired of dealing with all of this. The lag, the confusing settings, having to figure out why some apps stopped working… I just downgraded back to the last stable version (7.22.9).

What really gets me is that this is supposed to be a stable release. How did v8 get pushed as a stable update in this state?
