Internet connection but no apps

Title.

I have internet connection thru ethernet but steam, discord, runescape, riot games, anything that requires internet doesn’t work. I can watch youtube but i play Magic the Gathering and cannot see art on cards when i look at websites like Scryfall. I ran a malwarebytes scan and found 14 pups (browser controllers) and adware

Im thinking its actually a dns issue tho but am unsure, if anyone with experience with this sorta thing can help that would be awesome, thanks. My device is the only one in the crib with this issue
