Can I just drop a member from a grid and rejoin it?

We had a power issue and one of our grid members that hosts dns/dhcp seems to be having issues since then. The member joins, syncs, then goes offline every 10 seconds. TAC is trying to tell me it's an MTU issue, which is absurd. I can ping both ways with packet size of 9000. It worked fine before the power blip. Can I just go to the grid members section, delete the node, then rejoin the node to the deployment without causing an outage? We use anycast for our services, so theoretically nobody will be affected except the dorks that configured their stuff wrong to use this direct IP. Which they are probably already having problems anyway since the node drops from the deployment every 10 seconds.
