I've been an ASE player forever so I figured I'd finally get around to ASA. My Xbox install and claim of the addon maps went without a hitch, my brother got PC game pass and since the maps were already installed on his PC all he had to do was go to the store and press "get" to get licensed up. The problems came when my wife decided she wanted to play.
She claimed the addons, installed them, we played the four a few days, she got bored, and whenever we try to play any other map (she's the host for a non dedicated) she gets a prompt saying that whatever map that was picked needs to be installed.
I started working on this problem at 9am. It is now past midnight.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, clearing the Xbox and store caches, signing out of both the Xbox app and the store, force installing from a browser, checked file integrity, flushed DNS, manually starting services, installing on a separate user account, trying to force an install via server browser, reinstalling the files to a new folder, and copying files to a new location. I'm at the end of my rope here, because it's like the game isn't recognizing the licenses are owned. I tried getting Microsoft support to revoke the licenses so I can get them again (because I feel like that's the issue) but they wanted me to run a health check TWICE (wooo two timer to the 63% club) as well as a storage fix and moving stuff into the localappdata package but literally nothing has worked.
She has gone to bed fuming a couple hours ago, and I'm about two seconds from breaking this laptop in half. Please tell me somebody has a fix.
