F4-425 Plus – Domain Join

Running into an issue or two when joining to an existing domain and I was hoping someone might have a few suggestions.

Using the "Join Domain" option in the TM control panel, I give the following values:

• Domain – example.net
• DNS server -IP address of primary DC
• Username – example.net\username or username@example.net or username (I've tried all three)
• Password – of course

I then get a message saying: "SMB Work Group set incorrectly!"

I do have SMB set up with the following values:

• Workgroup or domain name – example.net
• Maximum version – SMB3
• Minimum version – SMB2 & Large MTU

I can connect to SMB using a local TM account, but I'm unsure why I can't join this to the domain. I figured I'd just switch to LDAP, but even though my user DN and Base DN are all correct, I get a message that TM could not start the domain service.

Current TOS is 7.0.1169

Have you run into this? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
