DNS at my facility was inappropriate

So this situation happened earlier last week, and has evolved into something bigger since then. I was not there when the incident occurred but have heard from multiple people what went down. So to provide context, the facility that I’m working at is slowly trying to get everyone into the union, and as a way to support those in the union were asked to wear purple at the start of the week. So many CNAs along with nurses have been wearing purple scrubs. So apparently the DNS went up to an aide and asked her why she was purple (ever since we got a new administrator and DNS, they have been really strict on dress code). The aide told her, and for some reason the DNS asked her a question if the union told her to put a penis on her forehead would should do it? Then it spiraled into her getting into an argument so bad that she got into another person’s face and was threatening to fight them.. My main point is how are we expected to work for someone who clearly shows no sense of respect for those under her?!?

Like I personally feel bad for the aide, because she’s not a confrontational person at all but this whole situation is just messed up.
