so i run a small local seo agency. cleaners, detailers, a trucking company, a photographer, about 10 clients over the past year. how we got them was pretty simple, free visibility scan on the site, loom video audits for cold outreach, then referrals once the first few worked out. the scan was the whole trick honestly. guy sees a screen showing chatgpt recommends his competitor when someone asks for the best detailer near him and the call books itself.
but the actual work almost killed me because its the same thing every single time. run our 240 test thing (20 buyer questions across chatgpt/perplexity/gemini/claude, 3 runs each, real browser so you see who actually gets named and what sources get cited), fix the schema, unblock ai crawlers (one client's site builder was blocking every single ai bot and they had no clue), comparison pages, review systems, automations. for two clients we built their whole booking system and admin backend from scratch.
so the last few months i turned the playbook into software. it audits the site daily, watches the google business profile daily (caught one client pointing at the wrong domain for months lol), scans map rankings street by street weekly, builds and injects schema, hosts a service page on their own domain off one dns record, and the 240 test is self serve now, owner runs it with their own ai accounts. it even asks the same detailed intake questions i used to ask on onboarding calls so everything it writes sounds like them and not like ai slop. next up is rank tracking, review followup texts, email integration so it sees bookings and payments and can actually show revenue next to rankings. ads stay "book a call" for now, not gonna pretend i automated media buying.
$349/mo one plan no sales calls. thats kind of my whole thesis, owners are done booking demos.
real talk though, agency pays my bills and the saas has trial users and zero paying customers. next month im starting a brand new local business from nothing using only the software and posting the numbers publicly.
what im stuck on. does no-sales-call actually work at this price for non technical owners or does 349 secretly need a human closer? the free scan converts because a human looms them after, self serve it has to convert alone, anyone pulled that off? and for anyone whos done white label, did selling to agencies fund the direct side or eat it? im aware im selling agencies the thing i tell owners makes agencies unnecessary lol
no link, not trying to promote, genuinely want the advice
