Since I've started my own server via SteamCMD on my pc, I have been trying to connect to the server through a PS5 and it does not seem to work. If i use another network or hotspot it does, but, I want it to run through the home network itself. I went as far as to setup a PrivateDNS host but it did not fix the issue (made my connection faster though).
I know that currently consoles do not support Direct IP lookup in game and was wanting to know if anyone has found a solution?
The server needs to maintain a public connection to allow friends/family outside the network to connect but also allow consoles connected locally to as well.
edit: Hairpinning issue exist due to BGW320 modem/router and I do not have funds for alternative equipment.
