Watching the new teaser for the upcoming update gave me an idea… Imagine an update with an Eldritch/Lovecraftian/cosmic horror theme.

Clarification: I’M NOT saying this is the new update. I’m just letting my mind run wild a little

Let’s get this started….

If it were up to me, I’d create an entire Halloween event based on cosmic beings. I already have several ideas for what the pets could look like

Since… the ones I’m going to mention now are mostly in the public domain. So in a way… we could have cosmic horror creatures in Adopt Me

Starting with beings that are a little more… “normal” (note the quotation marks)

1: The Hounds of Tindalos: I can’t say much about their appearance since it’s ever-changing.

2: The Deep Ones: They’re hybrid beings—a cross between a fish, a frog, and a human. But for Adopt Me, I imagine we’d just remove the human part and keep the fish-frog mutation—and that’s it

3: Dark Young: These are beings that resemble colossal black trees with hooves at the base. For Adopt Me, I imagine they could be black trees with several goat legs at the bottom, with cartoonish eyes in various holes around the trunk

Now moving on to beings that are more… powerful, shall we say

1: Nyarlathotep: I wouldn’t know how to describe his appearance… but just because his name starts with “nya.” I’d give him a cat’s head. But… drawing inspiration from several of his forms (since he has like a thousand)

The head would be that of a cat with a single trilobular eye. With three tentacles on its chin (this references its “Haunter of the Dark” form) and, finally, pharaoh-style attire (which references its “Black Pharaoh” form)

2: Shub-Niggurath: This one’s a bit complicated. But… knowing that one of its names refers to it as a goat, my idea is:

The upper part of its body would be the skeleton (in the shape of an Adopt Me pet, of course) of a goat. It would be grayish in color, verging on black. Its head would also be the skull of a goat… but. Toward the back, its ribs would gradually turn into tentacles.

Those would be my ideas.

By the way, I also imagine that the mini-games in this hypothetical event might be inspired by the fact that if you even just look at some of these creatures, you go crazy or die outright because your mind can’t handle it.
