Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a side project I've been building: MapMyCareer (https://www.mapmycareer.online/).
The core motivation was frustration with ghost job postings, consultancy spam, and stale job boards. Instead of generic city tags, I wanted to see exactly which tech
parks and office towers are actively hiring, along with a direct pipeline to the official company careers portal.
What it does:
– Interactive Geo-Spatial Map: 1,450+ verified live postings mapped to exact building coordinates across major hubs in India (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Pune,
Mumbai, Chennai).
– Direct Employer Links Only: Links lead straight to official career portals (Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, startups, etc.). Zero middlemen.
– 100-Point ATS Heuristic Auditor: Completely client-side parser (supports PDF, DOCX, TXT) that audits action verbs, Google X-Y-Z formula compliance, formatting red
flags, and word density without sending user resumes to third-party AI APIs.
– ATS Resume Architect: Split-pane in-browser editor with live preview and 1-click export to clean LaTeX (.tex) and Markdown.
– Recruiter Radar: Pre-send deliverability tool validating DNS/MX records and warning against generic unmonitored inboxes (careers@, recruiting@).
Tech Stack:
– Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router) + React 19 + TypeScript
– Styling: Tailwind CSS v4
– Mapping: Leaflet with custom clustering and coordinates
– Data: Python ingestion pipeline that verifies live postings and caches geocoded tech campuses into static JSON bundles.

Everything is 100% free with no login or paywalls.
Would love any feedback on the UI/UX, Leaflet cluster performance, or feature suggestions!
