I built Sooket over the past months and I'm not going to take it to 1.0. Rather than let it rot, I'd rather hand the whole thing to someone who will. I'm asking exactly what I have into it — $1995 — not a multiple, not a valuation. No revenue, no users, so there's nothing to put a multiple on.
What it is
Visual canvas for API middleware. You drag nodes, wire them, and the graph becomes a live HTTP endpoint that runs synchronously, inside the request path — so it can shape the response the caller is waiting on. Rate limiting, auth checks, PII redaction, caching, LLM calls, request/response shaping, without writing and deploying a service for it.
That's the difference from n8n/Make/Zapier: those fire asynchronously after the fact. Sooket is the request.
What's included
sooket.comandsooket.cloud— both domains, transferred to you- The landing site (Next.js, live at sooket.cloud today)
- The full repo: github.com/patriali/sooket — 49 commits, v0.1.1
- The
sooketnpm package name - Brand assets and the branded transactional email templates
- A short handover call and 30 days of email questions while you get oriented
What's actually built
Next.js + React Flow + TypeScript, local SQLite via node:sqlite, Node ≥ 22, Docker Compose included. Single process, no cloud dependency.
- 45 nodes across AI / request / external / format / logic / transform / static families
- Inline synchronous execution —
POST /api/v1/chatruns the graph and returns the result - Per-workflow API keys (
sk-wf-*) with scopes, rate-limit overrides, expiry, 30-day usage stats - Token-gated webhook endpoint per workflow
- Secrets encrypted at rest (AES-GCM + PBKDF2)
- Workflow versioning (snapshots every save, capped at 50, restore any version)
- Per-request and per-node execution logs
- Optional standalone execution server sharing the same SQLite file
- CLA and CONTRIBUTING in place, so the IP chain is clean
The honest numbers
- Revenue: $0. No paid product has ever existed.
- Users: unknown, likely near zero. No telemetry — by design.
- sooket.cloud is a "coming soon" page. The hosted tier was never built. You're buying the domain and the idea, not a running service.
- It's a 0.x beta. Usable, but rough edges, and the API surface may still change.
Read this before you make an offer — the license
Sooket is source-available under FSL-1.1-MIT, and the repo is public. Under FSL, each release automatically converts to MIT two years after it ships. You are not buying exclusive IP. Anyone can already read, self-host, and modify the code today, and in two years they can fork the current releases outright.
What you are buying: the .com, the npm name, the brand, the working codebase, and a head start of a few hundred hours. If you want it closed-source going forward, you can relicense future versions — the CLA means I hold the rights to do that and can assign them to you — but you cannot un-publish what's already out.
I'd rather say this up front than have you find it in diligence.
Why I'm selling
I'm a solo builder running several projects. Sooket needs a full-time owner to reach 1.0 and I can't be that. Selling at cost because I'd rather it ship than sit.
Terms
- Price: $1995 (my actual out-of-pocket: domains + hosting)
- Escrow.com
- Domains transfer first, repo and npm ownership on confirmed funds
