I made a small finance app that answers one question: “Will I run short before payday?”

I recently made a personal finance app called Stay Above.

I didn’t want to build another app that tries to manage every part of your financial life.

Instead, I focused on one simple question:

“Will my money last until the next payday?”

You enter your current balances, upcoming income, recurring bills, everyday essentials, and planned transfers.

Stay Above then projects your cash flow day by day, so you can see:

• where your balance is heading
• your lowest projected balance
• when money may get tight
• whether there’s a potential shortfall ahead

I also kept it local-first, with no bank connection required. I wanted it to feel more like a private planning tool than a financial dashboard.

It’s still early, but I’m pretty happy with how the idea came together.
