San Diego ‼️ I am building an App for Ravers 🧑‍💻🌱 (HELP WANTED)

I'm 26, I live in San Diego, and I go to a lot of festivals. It's been the biggest part of my life for years now — the people, the travel, the weekends you spend the next six months talking about.

Somewhere in there I got tired of the fact that all of it just… evaporates. You go to twenty of these things and the only record you have is a camera roll you never scroll through and a drawer of wristbands you can't throw away.

So I built something about that. Without getting into specifics in a public post: it's a web app for the festival community, built around your own history — where you've been, what it cost you, how far you went, and what that adds up to over the years you've been doing this. It's live, it works, and people are using it.

I'm keeping the details vague here on purpose. It's a small idea and it's not hard to copy, so I'd rather share the actual product with people who are genuinely interested in working on it than with the whole internet. If you fit one of the roles below and you're in the

Where my project currently stands:

It's a real, working product. It's also pre-launch — a small user base, mostly people I know.
Enough to test all features, and get the real expirence. However I haven't shared it to have a ton of traction yet. I plan on hard launching the product here on Reddit in the coming weeks, as well as on my personal social media.

The part I'll say up front to make it clear: I'm not a developer. I built this over several months with AI coding tools, a lot of reading, and teaching myself on everything along the way. From SQL, Row Level Security, Postgres roles and grants, Migrations, Repository using Git, and everything in between. All I've worked on for the past few weeks is laying down every security features most sites like mine would tend to ignore.

I am now in a place to confidently share this with the world, but I am a perfectionist so before I do I want to find a small team of people near me who are open to helping me build this into a genuine product, and take a chance on having our own start-up.

What came out of all I've done so far is something I'm genuinely proud of — but if I ever want to bring this into a fully realazied vision, and something that can actually scale, I need to find professionals that can bring it to the next level.

It's at the point where the next step isn't more of me. It's people who are actually good at the things I'm not.

Who I'm looking for:

• Graphic / UI designer — brand identity and visual language. Right now it's all there, but it needs polishing and a real human touch.
• Web developer — someone who can look at what I've built and tell me what a professional would have done instead. Review, clean, and verify the code.
• iOS developer — the next step is porting this to the iPhone, and Android down the road as well. I want someone who is knowledgeable and experienced witn navigating Apple's requirements when publishing to the App store.
• Marketing / social media — this community lives on IG and TikTok. I need someone who's been there, experienced in advertising on those platforms, and can help make content to spread the word by creating ads/post that capture our product and its use case perfectly.
• Business operations — the critical stuff. Structure, costs, monetization, promotion and handle partnerships. Someone who can turn this into a legitimate company, legally registered, and guide us to protect intellectual propery.

Straight up: there's no money yet. This is unpaid right now, and I'm not going to dress that up. What I can offer is real ownership — you'd be a founding member, not a contractor doing free work for my idea. Your name on it, your call on your own domain, and an actual equity conversation once we agree the fit is real. If that's not worth your time, I completely understand and no hard feelings.
