“You lost connection to your opponent” makes Ultimate Team unplayable

Does anyone know how to fix this on PC?

It started today and only in Ultimate Team. I get into a match, team line-ups pop and after that cut ends/is skipped I get this error (right before the kick-off begins). Seasons, for example, works just fine.

Game worked fine for a week since i got it on Play Pro. I thought I would get that Tournament objective done today since I am free, but guess not.

Things I have tried: repair installation, disable EA App overlay, disable Firewall, restart router, flush DNS, update team rosters.

Any sort of input on this is appreciated.
