Connection to steam failed issue

Ive tried countless times to play the game since the new locked and loaded update, but every time it brings me to this screen or just a blank black one. Ive tried verifying steam files, clearing caches on steam and my dns, deleting local save data, using a vpn, all of it doesn't work. Anyone else having these issues or know how to fix them? I really want to play the new update but nothing is working. 🙁
