Been facing a connectivity issue in my pc with lan ethernet cable as it was getting disconnected frequently, instead trying to think about the solution, i immediately opened chatgpt to seek solutions 😭😭. Tried doing everything it told me to – flushing dns, turning off power saving for lan adapter, and the dumbest thing (trying to update the lan drivers through device manager) which was the real issue 😭.
I was so sure its either my motherboard's lan adaper problem or the ethernet cable, so ordered a new one sobs~ still didnt work. in the end i used my last brain cell to install the latest driver from offical website of the motherboard brand and fixed it. wasted money on ethernet cable which is non returnable (i just found out that too). fr i feel like im really clumsy and stopped using my brain now 😭.
