Twain – Find Your Next App Or Project Name

Hi everyone, I made Twain to solve the problem of finding a good name for all my projects and app ideas with a matching domain. I feel like finding the perfect name can really set the tone and vision for what you're building. I've tried a lot of methods in the past and have incorporated the brainstorming techniques I use into this app.

The way it works is you start a brainstorming session, add a few words you like, and the app uses word embeddings and the Foundation Model to help you find similar words and variations. It then checks all those words against available domains.

Since the v1.0 I posted a couple weeks ago, I've added:

– Domain hacks. You can enable a lot of different domain hacks to find an available domain for your name, like adding "get", "try", or "app" to the name or intentional misspellings like flicker -> flickr.
– App Store Search. Searches the app store for other apps with a similar name and displays the results (thank you to an early TestFlight user from this sub for suggesting that).
– Domain prices. Shows prices for available domains.

This app requires >=iOS 26.4 and Apple Intelligence. All of your data is private and local.
