Console connected to the internet, but unable to display/use many online features

Hi everyone,

I’m having a rather strange problem that suddenly started happening from one day to the next.

I haven’t really used my PlayStation at all over the past two years because issues like this were so frustrating.

The console is connected to the internet and can, for example, download game updates, but I can’t upload screenshots. Nothing happens when I try. Sometimes it works briefly after restarting the console.

Under the PlayStation Plus section, I can’t see any content. The Store also doesn’t display anything, as you can see in the screenshots. Sometimes images that are part of the Store simply don’t load either.

PlayStation Parties don’t work properly either. I can’t invite anyone, and other people can’t invite me.

Then it suddenly works again for a few minutes, only to stop working again shortly afterwards.

I’ve already changed the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. At least this makes the images load, including the game covers in my library. But obviously, that can’t really be a permanent solution.

I was planning to get back into PlayStation gaming with Wolverine, so I connected the console again and wanted to play a little beforehand. This is getting incredibly frustrating.

For example, I was playing Returnal and started an online session. I then get an error saying that the internet connection has been lost, etc. A moment later it reconnects, then disconnects again, and so on.

I simply can’t figure out what the problem is. The issue occurs with both Ethernet and Wi-Fi.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or how I can fix it?
