Where domain hunters compare notes

Every step between “I have a cool idea” until “a stranger can pay me.” It was harder than I thought.

I'm building Baget, baget.ai, it helps with the boring setup of starting a business. Before I built it I actually sat down and listed what stands between having an idea and having something a stranger can find and pay for.

Domain. DNS. A page that doesn't look like a template. Copy for that page. Somewhere to collect emails. A sender domain that won't land you in spam. Pricing. A first email that isn't "hey we launched." or a video. Analytics. A privacy policy you didn't read. Payments. A support address.

Not one of those is hard, but keep doing one after the other is hard. The pattern I saw in this sub and elsewhere: people finish the thing, then quietly don't launch it for two months, and the reason is never one big blocker. It's fourteen small ones.

If you're sitting on something finished that you haven't launched, I'd honestly like to know which of those stuff you're stuck on. That's the useful part of this post. And if you want to look at what I've built, it's baget.ai, for sure feedback welcome, that's why I'm here.
