I could not find a Base44-specific handoff thread, so here is a compact checklist I would want before a client takes over an app:
- Ownership: client-controlled Base44 account, billing, domain and DNS
- Access: roles, integrations and secrets, plus a revocation plan
- Data: current export and one documented restore test
- Operations: every automation, usage cap and alert in one place
- Continuity: last tested version, known issues, rollback path and a one-page runbook
The point is not more documentation; it is making sure the app can still be operated when the original builder is unavailable.
Which single line would you refuse to hand off without?
