“error bad http response” trying to upgrade

I've been seeing it a lot lately on my various routers… updating from 7.24 to 7.24.1 for example.

Not believing the "wisdom" of reddit and forums about DNS issues and PPPOE mtu issues which aren't a problem here… I captured the traffic and assembled it with wireshark. Looks good but still getting the error.

I rebooted the router I was trying to upgrade, and tried the upgrade again and it went through perfectly….
