Simply go to Windows settings -> Network & Internet -> Wi-Fi -> Hardware properties -> "Edit" where it says DNS server assignment switch on IPv4 and type 1.1.1.1 where it says Preferred DNS then press save. This is just a simple fix to save you from installing Cloudflare and turning on settings just to fix this. If it continues then try installing Cloudflare then ask Google how to set 1.1.1.1 to udp/warp mode and you should be good.
I realized where the problem was because I had my DNS set to manual prior to the constant unknown errors. Also I went on to use wipe uninstallers because I thought it was an appdata issue, and for anyone telling you to use Google AI for something like this that lacks the necessary information and community for the AI to read off of, just don't. You'll probably end up screwing a few systems and complicate it for yourself trying to undo the changes. For the future remember other users encounter your same errors or potassium is aware of it actively repairing it so always check with the community. (p.s joining their discord server is of no use, their tickets have been closed and there are no channels for other users to help you. just a shit discord in general)
