My Dashboard

I'm using Dashwise which I've been building for about a year. Its goal is to integrate with other services. Yes other options do exist already but the most customizable one is the one you build yourself. It already integrates with:

• RSS Feeds (there's an extra news app plus widgets to put feeds directly on your dashboard)
• My nextcloud calendar (but any CalDAV-compatible one works)
• Shoutrrr: apps like Zerobyte can send notifications to dashwise via shoutrrr (which uses a REST endpoint)
• Beszel, Nexterm, Openmeteo and custom integrations using YAML configs

Dashwise isn't vibe-coded. I use AI for feature drafts but manually verify and edit the code. This allows me to move faster while keeping this aligned with my requirements, including security.

All of my docker compose files are stored in a private Gitea repo. Before that I used Portainer – now I only use it once in a while to check docker logs from my phone

Other services that I'm using in my homelab:

• Nextcloud, mostly for my calendar
• Immich for backing up my photos to my servers
• Home Assistant, Mosquitto, Zigbee2MQTT and Govee2MQTT for my smart home stuff
• Zerobyte and Rustfs (offsite) for backups
• Media: Jellyfin for shows and movies, Groovewise (which I vibecoded) for music
• Beszel for monitoring my lab
• Vaultwarden because it works with Bitwardens clients (unless Bitwarden breaks support once in a while)
• Adguardhome to filter DNS queries
• Caddy as a reverse proxy
• Tailscale for remote access

My lab is a lot simpler than it used to be. I ended up either replacing services with TUIs, building their functionality into Dashwise, or realizing I didn't actually use them.

I also plan to experiment with Hermes Agent in the future. Already tried its desktop app but since I want it to run 24/7 and I want to use it with a webui rather than through Discord or some messaging app I'm gonna have to look for a community project for that.
