At the start of this year my pc randomly started having this issue. Basically when I start my pc, certain apps (the main 3 I have noticed are: Steam, Epic games launcher and microsoft edge) start off working completely fine then after about a minute or so they fail to connect to the internet. I have spent hours and hours trying to find fixes online, going through steam support, microsoft support and other reddit communities and I can’t find the issue. Here is what I know for sure, It’s not a WIFI issue as I tried connecting with my hotspot and still had the same issue, It’s nothing to do with firewall (as far as i can see) i’ve tried changing dns, flushing the dns, running my pc in safe boot and nothing fixes it. This is the confusing part though, every other browser works perfectly fine and all the other game launchers i’ve tried (ubisoft, battlenet, minecraft launcher) they all work with 0 issues so it’s something those 3 have in common and I can’t figure it out. What’s really weird is I used to be able to fix it temporarily. I would restart my pc over and over and eventually it would work perfectly fine but even that doesn’t seem to work anymore. If anyone can help with this and find a fix I would be greatly appreciative. I highly doubt there is anyone that can help but I will deadass pay someone if they can find the fix for me because I don’t want to have to deal with the hassle of taking it to a repair shop and dealing with all that.
