Can’t play Multiplayer

I play on an Xbox Series S, and I’ve done all sorts of tricks to try and play multiplayer, none have worked, I’ve changed the DNS, I’ve reset my Xbox. My friend says they’ve had no problem getting into it. Any other tips?
