I’m at my wits end..

I'm trying to reset my home assistant password, I've never known something so stupidly complicated in all my life, yes I'm new to all of this but my goodness, please can someone help without making any unfair, snide remarks? Please? Thank you in advance

Just need a password reset

I've gone out of my way to buy a Bluetooth keyboard so I can connect the hdmi lead to my TV to display the commands etc, I'm just getting no where and I'm getting more and more frustrated

Edit to add.. Here is what I've already tried so far..

• Hardware Setup: Connected a Home Assistant Green to a TV via HDMI and plugged in a newly purchased UGREEN wireless keyboard via USB.

• Storage & File System Troubleshooting: Discovered and successfully ran automated file system checks (fsck) to clear out corrupted ext4 blocks and read-only errors on an attached 1TB external data drive.

• Console Command Attempts: Tried running recovery and user commands (auth reset –interactive, auth list, login, su, supervisor options, and direct • Docker container execution commands) directly from the console interface, but repeatedly ran into permission blocks, container isolation walls, and "command not found" errors due to Home Assistant OS restrictions.

• Network / UI Access Attempts: Attempted to reach the setup and login pages via web browser using both local domain names (homeassistant.local:8123) and direct local IP addresses (192.168.0.177:8123), which resulted in DNS and connection errors while the system was locked or hanging during boot.
