I have been building a mobile hex wargame that follows Napoleon's career from Toulon in 1793 to Waterloo in 1815. The hardest part has not been adding battles; it has been making neighboring battles feel like different historical problems instead of the same map with different names.
For example, Lodi is built around the exposed bridge chokepoint and Austrian guns. Arcole shifts the focus to maneuvering around the village objective rather than repeating another bridge assault. Austerlitz makes control of the Pratzen Heights and timing the counterattack central to the scenario.
There are 44 scenarios in total, plus a conquest sandbox. I would genuinely value corrections from people who know the campaigns well—especially cases where the terrain, objectives, or force balance oversimplify what made a battle distinctive.
The game is called Imperial Eagle:

Disclosure: I used AI assistance for parts of the code and AI-generated illustrations and character voice lines. The historical research, scenario design, objectives, map layouts, and balancing are my own work. The music uses public-domain classical recordings.
