Vacancy for a Network Engineer role

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and technically inclined Network Engineer Intern to join our Global Infrastructure Team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This 6-month internship offers hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade networking environments. High-performing interns will be directly considered for a permanent Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at the conclusion of the internship period.

Key Responsibilities

Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring local and global network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and system stability.

Troubleshooting: Help diagnose, isolate, and resolve basic network connectivity issues, routing discrepancies, and hardware anomalies.

Deployment & Configuration: Support senior engineers in configuring, staging, and deploying network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation, network topology diagrams, inventory logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional IT support teams and external vendors to assist in system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

Key Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline (2025 or 2026 pass-out) .

Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals, including the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching principles.

Tools: Familiarity with basic network diagnostic tools (e.g., Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark) and command-line interfaces (CLI).

Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent networking certification is optional but highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced corporate environment.
