Hello all. I just recently went back to college and brought my Xbox along as well. Last year everything went smooth no problems. This year I have latency issues so bad multiplayer games are completely unplayable. Although to be clear I began experiencing this before my move. About a month ago while playing multiplayer with friends I all the games I played had severe packet loss and latency issues which I hadn’t experienced the entire summer. About a week later it went back to normal and stayed like that for approx 2-3 weeks. Then it started back up again although not as bad. I was hoping when I went to uni the issue would be fixed because the wifi is pretty good but it ended up being worse. And since I’m here I’m limited on fixes (don’t have Ethernet and can’t mess with the router). So far I’ve tried manually changing DNS settings to google’s and cloudflares, restarted my Xbox, power cycled my Xbox, turned on and then off WMM tagging, and ran multiple network tests all of which came back fine. Although when I try to run the multiplayer connection test it gives me a “can’t get a teredo IP address” which I’ve been unable to fix.
