I've tried to use both Google and Cloudflare's DNS settings because I've had issues with getting streams to load to watch sports across multiple sites(Always get the 'could not play video error"). As soon as I turned on my VPN, it loaded without issue. I would like to know if I have to do anything else when adjusting the settings (I'm on a chromebook and have done the custom servers in the network settings as well as changing the preset DNS provider in the Privacy tab).
I'd rather not have to use a VPN all the time when watching sports as I like to cast with my chromecast but it's not the end of the world, more so I just want to know if I'm doing anything wrong with the settings.
