Since we're going to lose Pokebank, the thing I'm the most sad about is not that we can't transfer Pokémon from the old gen to the new one. The real thing for me is that trades between Gen 6 games are going to take hours instead of drag&droping whole boxes from one game to another.
Is there some custom software we can self-host on a computer that your 3DS can recognize as the real PokéBank when both your computer and your 3DS are on the same network ? I don't know, maybe with some DNS hacking like for the old events for DS games. Maybe you could also see your bank on a nice UI on your computer ?
And if there is no such thing, what are we waiting to code it ourselves ?
