This is almost a second part to another of my posts, so I recommend you read it.

AAU stands for "Advanced Anomalous Usage". These are techniques that allow a user of powers based on anomalous energy and mainly abilities to bring out 2000% of their potential.
Great soul (Name in WIP): The skills, as I already mentioned in the previous post, are the innate control of the anomalous energy of your soul. The Great soul is something quite similar. When a person's soul becomes so strong that it bends the space at their feet, a curious event occurs. By using the same sign that activates your ability, you can use your great soul to cause this event. This gives you a huge boost to all your stats and allows you to use a "second skill." This is usually just as strong as the original ability but more impressive and often fits with mode abilities (Mode abilities are abilities that, once activated, remain active for a period of time, commonly until the moment the person faints.) Unlike unique abilities, great souls can be developed by non-human species, in which case they will not need to use any sign to activate it. There are 2 types of great souls, those that only modify space directly, called open barrier, and those that first enclose their surroundings in a pocket dimension, called closed barrier. As closed barrier user and field expert Oliver Madden said: “"Imagine that reality is a puddle of water. A great soul with an open barrier uses its hands to splash the water, one with an closed barrier first puts it in a bottle and then shakes it.”
dimentional clash: “Water cannot be in two bottles at the same time. If they try to do it at the same time one of the two will have to destroy the other.” As our expert Oliver just said, two pocket dimensions cannot exist at the same time. When this is attempted, both people begin to compete to see who wins. In the event that this fight goes on for too long, both opponents will begin to receive abnormal damage until one of the two loses, dies, or surrenders. This is called a dimentional backlash. The most common symptoms include a sharp pain in the brain and bleeding from all body orifices.
Semi-great soul: The Alma Magna is very useful, but it cannot be used without falling into a terrible amount of complications and spatial alteration. If you don't want to (or can't) go through these complications, you can use a semi-great soul. In short, it simply consists of concentrating a lot of energy at a point in space to cause an effect similar to that of a great soul. There are 4 types: temporary ones that are used when someone does not yet have a complete one but needs to do something similar. Quick draw where the effect of the great soul is used more quickly and without causing spatial alteration. Potential (Megumi reference) that allows you to use it as a container of anomalous energy either to enhance something or to retain it. And finally, the pocket-sized semi-dimension. This is one of the people with great souls who have a closed barrier. This can be used to: shield yourself from the effects of a great soul (It's important to mention that this doesn't cover you from powers that affect the user or only create attacks without directly targeting you directly, or that have mandatory activation.), create barriers, slow down attacks, avoid dimensional attacks, cause or block dimensional damage (This is very important in high tiers of verse since almost all high tiers have this), a more powerful or versatile version of the Type 3, a platform, or just for showing off, among other things. It's basically a jjk simple domain.
CAE and UAEF: CAE or concentrated anomalous energy is a unique way of using energy similar to the semi-great soul. Basically, you concentrate anomalous energy at a point, but instead of using a semi-great soul, you "give it an order." Basically, you give the anomalous energy a direction or command to act in a certain way, such as making the anomalous energy move downwards to knock something to the ground. The most particular form of this is UAEF or unique anomalous energy formation. Each person's abnormal energy acts differently; if this is combined with the CAE, this can lead to special effects. This technique can range from slightly faster energy to your entire energy manifesting as guns.
realization strike: This is exclusive to people with explosive powers. These often have the weakness that they have to coat something with energy before making it explode. In a "realization strike" the user of the ability coats their fist/something with energy and explodes the air instead of the person, causing a virtually instantaneous explosion.
Sub-skill/second skill: This one is easy, you just use anomalous energy and restrictions to give a second effect to an already established ability.
Maximum Output Skill or Stack: A skill is like a glass; you can only pour a certain amount of water—anomalous energy—into one before it overflows. The solution to this is either to improve your capacity or to exchange anomalous energy for more, but this also has a limit and is very inefficient. The best way to do this is to stack multiple skills into a single use. This way you can either use a skill multiple times at once or combine them into a single MOS. This MOS can be used either to perform a skill with a lot of energy, or (more interestingly) to use trades to achieve a sub-skill or a more powerful version of the existing one. The weakness of this is that the soul becomes overloaded with information and cannot do anything for a while. This can be overcome by using a great soul, which, being the representation of a soul, allows it to process information much faster or use a power that is not directly dependent on the soul.
Passive skill: Some skills have side effects that can be used without activating the skill. This is usually either a necessary complement to the skill or a power that accompanies it (very common in hereditary skills). The passive skill component does not imply that it should not be intentionally activated, but rather that it is not activated along with the skill itself.
Magic / Qi: Magic is the art of using the anomalous power of the mind through knowledge, while qi is the same but with the body and martial arts. Both were almost completely abandoned during the popularization of skills and swordsmen in the 1700s.
I'm probably sending the link to this post to explain things. Tell me if your OC is ultra-high-end-mega-countered by any of these powers.
