Where domain hunters compare notes

Something got blocked that shouldn’t have? Here’s what to do

No filter is perfect, so here's the quickest way to fix it when DNSAFE blocks a site you need.

If you manage the network: add an Allow rule for the domain. Home: my.dnsafe.net → Rules. Business: your dashboard → Rules. MSPs: the client's Rules tab. Allow rules beat the threat list and the category filters.

It takes about a minute. Rule changes reach our resolvers in about a minute. Your device may remember the old answer for a few minutes more; restarting the browser or flushing the DNS cache makes it immediate.

If someone else manages the network: the block page can send them a request. At work it's "Ask IT for access", at home "Ask a parent", when the person who runs DNSAFE there has turned it on.

Think we got it wrong? Tell us the site and we'll review it: https://dnsafe.net/contact. Or post the domain here (never your IP or account details) and we'll take a look.
