New registration with free privacy, what am I missing?

I’m setting up a small site and need a new domain with privacy protection included. I used to assume every registrar covered this, then noticed some extensions have different rules and some places only make the option obvious right before payment.

I’ve checked Namecheap, GoDaddy, and Wix so far. Not trying to start a registrar war, I just want my contact info hidden and the DNS setup to stay simple. If you’ve done this recently, what did you go with? Thanks in advance
