Where domain hunters compare notes

My server is getting an HTTP 403 (Forbidden) from server.plex.tv and is unreachable on all my clients

I posted this on the forum as well to absolute silence. The post from there is repeated below.

Hi everyone. I recently had a power outage and since the power came back, I’ve been unable to access Plex from any of the apps; they all say that my server is offline. Looking inside Plex Media Server.log, I’m seeing a lot of these failed HTTP PUT requests:

Oct 13, 2026 20:08:29.907 [127756400417592] DEBUG – [HCl#3d] HTTP requesting PUT https://servers.plex.tv/devices/1c748cf773f7b904d87b5e6d44c5747111951953?Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&httpsEnabled=1&httpsRequired=0&dnsRebindingProtection=0&X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oct 13, 2026 20:08:30.006 [127756429949752] DEBUG – [HttpClient/HCl#3d] HTTP/2.0 (0.1s) 403 response from PUT https://servers.plex.tv/devices/1c748cf773f7b904d87b5e6d44c5747111951953?Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&Connection[][uri]=redacted&httpsEnabled=1&httpsRequired=0&dnsRebindingProtection=0&X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have tried the following:

– restarting Plex
– toggling Remote Access
– Removing PlexOnlineToken/Username/Mail/Home from Preferences.xml and reclaiming both through the web UI and using curl /myplex/claim
– deleting old entries on plex.tv
– resetting ProcessedMachineIdentifier

/identity reports claimed=“1” and the *.plex.direct DNS resolves correctly. The 403 continues with a new device ID so I’m not sure what’s going on now.

Might anyone know what’s going on?
