Validating EASM findings before remediation

Hello Purple Team crew!
I am looking for a better way to validate EASM findings before they land in the remediation queue. I’ve seen plenty of discussion about asset discovery, but I don’t feel like I have a clean answer, so I’m hoping for a little guidance.
The issue is that finding a public service doesn’t prove we still own it or that the exposure is exploitable. We can check DNS history, certificate relationships, and cloud records manually, but that turns a five-minute alert into half an afternoon. shodan is useful for seeing what is public. cycognito is also on my list for broader external discovery and attribution. ionix caught my attention because it adds exploitability validation and helps move confirmed findings toward mitigation.
I’m not trying to replace our vulnerability scanner or CMDB. I just want stronger evidence before another uncertain finding becomes an urgent ticket.
