Hi!
First of all, I apologize if this has been asked before, I looked around in the FAQ and in the sub and couldn't find a conclusive answer for my specific question. Basically, after seeing the recent developments in the PS5 jailbreaking scene, I remembered I do in fact own a PS5 that I haven't used in ages and decided to jailbreak it. As such, I followed Modded Warfare's recent beginners' guide, where I changed the DNS to 62.210.38.117 to get the jb. Apparently this also blocks Sony's servers, and I'm on 11.60 so I couldn't connect to PSN anyway, but I've seen some people say some jailbroken consoles are getting banned and you need to set DNS to 127.0.0.1 to completely block access in order to avoid a ban.
Is this true? Or am I worrying over nothing? I assume it's probably fine if it was in the tutorial, since that channel has been recommended by many users on here, but since the video is a few days old at this point and the reports I've seen are from today I was a bit worried, considering so many news in the scene are coming out at breakneck speed and I'm not very familiar with how the PS5 works. Thanks in advance!
