Skip update/validation of a PSN game on 12.40

Hello!

I have a 12.40 PS5 with a PSN copy of AC: Shadows installed. I'm at like 70% of the game, so i was planning on finishing it while i wait for the PKG support. When i tried to started it today, it says "Game update pending" and i cannot skip or cancel it, so the game doesn't load.

Do we have a way of skipping that/installing the update manually? The PS5 has been at least a month with the anti sony DNS, so i know that it's not an update, but not sure how to play in the meanwhile. If i just download the game, could i play the backup with my current savefile?

Thanks!
