About Xaelion: The New Age

Hello, Minecraft community!

We are currently recruiting dedicated, long-term staff members to help bring Xaelion: The New Age to life!

Xaelion is an ambitious 18+ Minecraft RPG/RP server featuring custom lore, quests, an evolving economy, NPCs, skill trees, origins, cities, towns, unique locations, custom mods, and much more.

Our goal is to create an immersive, story-driven world where players can explore, build, roleplay, and influence the future of the realm.

The server has been in active development for over six months, and we have long-term plans to keep it running and evolving for years to come.

We currently have a small, dedicated team working hard behind the scenes. However, with a project of this size, we are looking to expand our staff team with friendly, passionate individuals who share our vision.

We are especially looking for builders and mod testers, although we welcome anyone interested in contributing to the project.

You do not need to be an expert to join us! We are happy to teach, guide, and help people develop their skills. What matters most is having a positive attitude, communicating well, and being willing to learn.

Please note: The server is currently whitelisted and remains in development as we prepare for its eventual public release.

Our Modpack: Woody's Create and Magic

Woody's Create and Magic is a heavily customized Minecraft modpack designed specifically for an immersive RPG/RP experience.

The modpack combines medieval fantasy, magic, adventure, engineering, steampunk technology, and hardcore survival elements to create a world that appeals to many different playstyles.

Magic, Combat, and Adventure

Our modpack features an extensive selection of magic, combat, exploration, and progression systems, including:

• Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks and additional addons
• Ars Nouveau and additional addons
• Apotheosis and additional addons
• L2 Hostility
• Artifacts and Relics
• Vampirism and Werewolves
• Lootr
• Custom skill trees and progression systems
• Many additional mods that expand magical abilities, combat, exploration, and character development

We want magic and combat to feel meaningful, with plenty of opportunities for players to develop their own unique characters and playstyles.

Technology, Engineering, and Creativity

Alongside the fantasy elements, we have Create and numerous Create addons, expanding the possibilities for mechanical engineering, automation, transportation, and steampunk-inspired builds.

We are also working on compatibility between different mods to make the experience feel more connected and consistent.

Whether someone enjoys magic, engineering, exploration, combat, building, or roleplaying, our goal is to offer something for everyone.

Our modpack has been extensively customized and updated to NeoForge 1.21.1, with ongoing improvements focused on compatibility, stability, and smoother gameplay.

Due to the size of the modpack, a reasonably capable gaming computer is recommended.

The Lore of Xaelion: The New Age

One of the biggest parts of our project is the original lore and history we have created for the world of Xaelion.

We are developing a unique fantasy realm filled with history, mythology, mysteries, civilizations, conflicts, and opportunities for adventure.

Our goal is to create a living, story-driven world where the environment, quests, NPCs, locations, and player actions all contribute to the overall experience.

We have already written extensive lore documents and are continuing to expand the history and structure of the realm.

To bring this vision into Minecraft, we are also developing our own custom lore mod, XaelionLore, which will help connect the world's history with gameplay.

Some people who have seen our plans have compared the concept to a Dungeons & Dragons-style adventure, with exploration, character progression, storytelling, and player-driven experiences.

A World Shaped by Its Players

Following the public release, players will gradually have opportunities to influence the realm's future.

Through roleplay, guilds, the economy, settlements, events, and other gameplay systems, we want the community to become part of Xaelion's ongoing history.

Rather than building a world that never changes, we want to create one that continues to develop alongside its players.

Staff Recruitment: Who We're Looking For

We are looking for friendly, passionate, mature, and motivated individuals who want to be part of a long-term Minecraft community and development project.

We believe a healthy staff environment is just as important as the work being completed.

You do not need to be a veteran Minecraft player, experienced developer, or master builder to join our team.

Everyone has different strengths, and we are happy to help individuals discover where they can contribute.

Positions We're Particularly Interested In

Build Team

We currently have a significant need for builders to help develop Xaelion's world.

Building projects may include:

• Medieval towns, villages, and cities
• Castles, kingdoms, and fortifications
• Steampunk cities and industrial districts
• Markets, shops, inns, and public buildings
• Dungeons, ruins, and points of interest
• Temples, shrines, and lore-related structures
• Roads, landscapes, and environmental details

Creative Mode is currently permitted for staff building during development.

Following the public release, our intention is to transition toward a more player-driven world, where the economy, settlements, and interactions between players help shape future construction and expansion.

Mod Testers

We are also looking for individuals interested in testing the modpack, custom mods, gameplay systems, and overall server experience.

This may involve identifying bugs, reporting compatibility issues, testing progression, and providing feedback to help us prepare for public release.

Other Contributors

Even if building or testing is not your specialty, we welcome people interested in helping with lore, quests, gameplay balance, community development, creative ideas, or other areas of the project.

Our goal is to build a team where everyone has an opportunity to contribute.

Future Plans and Development Goals

We have several major projects currently underway or planned for the future.

Website and Community

We have already secured our domain name and are working on developing an official website for Xaelion.

The website is planned to support information about the server, its lore, development updates, community resources, and staff recognition.

Custom Mods and Gameplay Systems

We are currently creating, improving, or refining several custom modifications and systems, including:

• XaelionLore: Custom lore-related content and features
• Xaelion Origins: Character origins and progression
• Guild Systems: Player organizations and community progression
• Economy Systems: Expanded trading and economic gameplay
• NPC and Economy Addons: Additional interactions and economic features
• Skill Trees: Character specialization and development
• Custom Datapacks: Recipe changes, compatibility improvements, and gameplay adjustments

These systems are intended to work together to make Xaelion feel like a cohesive RPG/RP experience rather than simply a collection of individual mods.

Long-Term Server Goals

Our long-term vision includes:

• Launching a stable public Minecraft server
• Building a community capable of supporting 50+ players
• Maintaining and expanding the server for years to come
• Continuing to develop custom lore, quests, and events
• Expanding the world with new locations and settlements
• Supporting player-driven roleplay, guilds, and economic development
• Regularly improving performance, balance, and gameplay systems
