What's Dex again?

Dex is a privacy-respecting AI assistant built right into your DeCloudUs dashboard and helps you manage your DNS the best way possible.

Instead of clicking through profiles, categories, services, and rules, you can just tell Dex what you need plainly in your native language:

"Block TikTok on the kids' devices"
"Why is this website not loading?"
"Turn off social media on school nights"
"What did the living room TV look up yesterday?"

Dex makes the changes for you, tells you what it did, and answers your questions.

What changes did you make?

Previously, Dex has been great in interacting with users in English. Thanks to many users who sent us feedback, we understood there was a strong desire to make Dex even more helpful and in other languages. So, we made two significant changes:

1. We upgraded Dex to understand, make changes, and reply in many other languages. This includes:
   • Native or near-native fluency: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Hindi.
   • Intermediate fluency: Thai, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Czech, Greek, Hebrew, Malay, Ukrainian, Romanian, Hungarian, Bengali, Tamil, Urdu, and Swahili.
   • Other languages: it can still understand and will reply in more languages than what's listed above, but the quality is not measured.
2. We gave Dex more tools and knowledge to be even more accurate and helpful managing any task or question you need help with.

One last thing..

We understand we have a wide user base with varying levels of technical knowledge. Our goal is to extend the benefits of a great, highly capable, fully customizable DNS to all people, regardless of the level of their technical knowledge. We want to make it as easy and as simple as possible without sacrificing features and capabilities. Dex is one way we are accomplishing this, by making robust DNS setup and configuration as easy as expressing what you need in your native language and leaving all the technical steps to Dex to handle for you.

We want everyone to benefit from and leverage the power of DNS to keep themselves and their families safe and secure online. So if you have any ideas, suggestions, feedback, or comments, please feel free to reach out to us via any channel.
