Is it allowed to do dns without proper eyesight as per requirements and do Lasik later after completing course??

Guys I met one guy on reddit he was claiming himself as great eastern sponsored for dns batch and he told me that For dns it's not necessary to have proper eyesight and we can get Lasik even after our completion of course

I want to ask do geims really provides this much relaxation to students or he is just lying
