Where domain hunters compare notes

I got tired of “Stoic” apps that just hand you a quote and walk away, so I built the actual practice

Every Stoicism app I tried was the same thing: a daily quote notification, maybe a streak counter, and that's it. No actual practice, just content.

The Stoics themselves had a specific ritual: a morning preparation (read a passage, set an intention, name the hard thing that might come, sort what's yours to control from what isn't) and an evening review (Seneca's three questions: what did I do badly, what did I do well, what could I do better). That's what I built. Not quotes, the actual structure they used.

The interface changes with the time of day, cool light in the morning, lamplight and indigo at night, so the app matches the ritual it's for.

The core (daily readings, the full morning/evening practice, a streak that forgives a missed day, widgets) is free, permanently, not a trial. There's a one-time unlock for the full source texts (Meditations, Enchiridion, Seneca) plus specific practice tools and themed tracks for grief, anger, discipline, mortality. One purchase, no subscription, felt wrong to charge monthly for Stoicism.

No account, no login, no tracking, everything stays on-device.

Built solo with AI-assisted coding (Claude), which I'm not going to pretend isn't true. I did the actual design decisions and the writing myself, and every quoted text is a public-domain translation I sourced and checked.

Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried to actually keep a Stoic practice rather than just read about it.
