When pressing the connect button on MEGA VPN, it will either…
case 1: turn green to indicate that it's working, but does not function. "IP address" in vpn ui is a grey bar with no numbers. upload and download speed are both 0.
case 2: buffer indefinitely. This would also occur on my previous laptop, which i fixed by changing the DNS settings to OpenDNS.
Doing so on this computer does not fix anything.
Testing network connections in MEGA VPN results in…
"IPv4: Ok
IPv4 DNS: Failed
IPv6: Unreachable
IPv6 DNS: Unreachable"
This issue is only present on university wifi.
