I use Technitium for DNS/ad-blocking and it is hosted on a VPS that is configured with Tailscale. All the settings are correct, and it works great for connected devices, but I am running into the issue where the Tailscale App can not connect to the DNS server, so it falls back to the phone default, in my case 8.8.8.8 rendering all ad-blocking gone. I know that this is a well documented bug (the DNS unreachable) and I am trying to use MacroDroid to watch for connectivity changes, and then trigger airplane mode on/off to reset the DNS settings with Tailscale. I do not know if this is going to work, but it was the only thing I could come up with. Has anyone else had issues similar to this? Can anyone suggest a better work around? Thanks
