Hi everyone,
I recently started a "semi-anarchy" Pokémon Minecraft server based off the Cobbleverse modpack for fun, and it's been going pretty decent so far.
Just to note, this is mostly a passion project, and I'm not looking to make a ton of money off it. The server will also not sell any gameplay advantages. The store will mainly behave similar to 2b2t, with priority queue passes, along with a custom in-game nickname and skin feature mod I have on the server.
A lot of the server is custom or forked from existing public mods, and we also have a dedicated modpack for players who want a more "vanilla" Cobbleverse experience.
Why I think it could be big
99% of Pokémon Minecraft servers are heavily pay2win (most players I talked to hate this), have boring features, or are way too easy. Cobblemon (the Pokémon Minecraft mod) has been growing a lot, has a massive and active community, and Cobbleverse (top 5 most downloaded modpacks) makes it feel like an actual open-world Pokémon game with naturally generating structures, gyms, trainers, and more.
There are also almost 0 "public" servers actually running the modpack, so I think we have something pretty unique. We currently have around a community of 5 to 10 players, and now we mainly need more exposure.
What I'm looking for
Domain and Art: The server name and art are placeholders for now, but it will most likely be called TheCrib.
optional Hosting: I already have hosting covered indefinitely atm, but better specs and more storage for players are always nice.
optional Marketing: I've done a fair share of content creation myself, but help with YouTubers and streamers would be huge.
What you get
- A percentage of agreed-upon donations
- Console access
- Some server files depending on the agreement
- A role in the Discord and Minecraft server
- Any other bonuses we agree on
