Common websites became inaccessible.

I've been trying to access facebook, and google websites (youtube, google, gmail, sheets, etc) without success.

for youtube:

on Edge it's ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE, on Brave and GX it's "No internet connection"

for other sites like google or facebook:

Edge – ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE; Brave – DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE; GX – DNS_PROBR_FINISHED_BAD_SECURE_CONFIG

the issue is localized to just one device (laptop); those sites work on other devices. that laptop can still access other sites through Brave or Edge like reddit, itchio, fandom; but still fails when opened on GX.

tried:

• Switching network dns to 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, and automatic

• resetting router and the laptop

• enabling & disabling "QUIC"(?)

• turning antivirus on/off

• checking for virus using defender and Malwarebytes; there was none found.

i truly don't know what to do at this point.
