My uni offers 3 year degrees, so I was really devastated after I missed out in 2024 and couldn't let another summer go by without getting any experience.
After looking at different resumes discussed over here I realised I had plenty of unofficial projects that were undocumented. I took the time to describe what I've done on my own and completely revamped my resume, leading to multiple interviews. I even ended up turning one down because I got a better offer at the airport.
My grades also helped, because the airport wanted students with at least a 3.5 GPA. Don't underestimate the power of good grades.
